As a Customer Onboarding Specialist you support our customers’ implementation team to integrate our award winning ReadID technology into their services. The core of your role is optimally matching the customer’s use-case with ReadID specific features, user guidance best practices and business rules. You are the linking pin in establishing a successful end-user experience when a customer integrates ReadID after the sales and contracting phase. You involve others of the ReadID team when necessary, e.g. to answer specific compliance questions or for issues on API details, configuration and hosting. Since our customer base is worldwide, by default cooperation is remote (e.g., Teams) but it can involve travelling to customers if you like.

To improve effectiveness of our operations, you help in organizing means and materials for developer support and in this way continuously improve the ‘developer experience’, e.g. accessible documentation on APIs, technical material for security and other roles.

Your Job!

  • You are the linking pin between the ReadID team and the customer during the integration of ReadID in customers’ services.
  • You internally coordinate and manage activities for the customer’s implementation.
  • You work in an global context with customers worldwide, with colleagues from 9 different countries, working from Enschede.
  • You act as the internal project manager for the customer implementation phase, and manage agreed budgets and scope.
  • You work together with sales and contracting to refine and manage the agreed use-case(s), goals and activities.
  • You work together with the ReadID developers and cloud teams for technical questions and additional development activities.
  • You take part in coordinating and editing the API documentation, tech guides, admin guides, FAQs, sample code and whitepapers to fit the needs of developers at the customers’ end.

What do we expect?

  • A university (MSc) or applied university/college (HBO/BSc) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Security or similar.
  • You can bridge the gap between the customer’s business or functional requirements and ReadID technical requirements.
  • You have good communication skills and can carefully manage customer expectations.
  • You are fluent in English, and preferably speak Dutch as well.
  • You have at least three years of experience in a similar role, or as a (Java or mobile) developer.
  • For purposes of co-operating with the team, you come to our Enschede office at a regular basis, typically at least two days/week.
